Candyland Arts & Academics is a non-profit performing arts, sports and academic enrichment program dedicated to helping families within urban areas navigate through life’s challenges mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. We believe in the power of creativity, expression and community to enrich lives and inspire growth. Our team is made up of
experienced and passionate artists, educators, athletes and clergy who are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.

At Candyland Arts & Academics, we offer a variety of theme based workshops, activities, trips and events for youth by age groups and skill levels. We believe in volunteerism and offering opportunities to our teen population to work with younger children in a supervised setting. Some of our events consist of a Sneaker Ball, self-publishing a compilation book of their work, painting parties, tutoring, read alongs, trips to historic museums and sites that explore the history of our country, Prom Dress support and more.

Our teens will be documenting the years
journey of activities through mixed media using their cell phones to record and laptops to edit and music video and pictures into one documentary. Each teen will have an opportunity to showcase their work the following summer. We provide a diverse range of opportunities for all of our youth to explore their creativity and develop their artistic and academic abilities. We also offer counseling services, trips and productions, and other enrichment programs that support our mission of empowering families and strengthening communities through the arts one child
at a time.
